Compression therapy at Calmare House

We have both — a traditional Finnish sauna (80–90°C) and an infrared sauna (45–65°C). The Finnish works through intense ambient heat; the infrared penetrates deeper into tissue at a lower temperature. Each does something different. Both are yours to use.

Infrared sauna at Calmare House
1 – 5 min

Cold water immersion at 10–15°C. The first ten seconds are the only hard part. After that, it's something else entirely — a full-body reset that most members describe as their favourite part of the session.

A rooftop hot tub at 38–40°C with a direct view of the Pacific over Bird Rock. End here after everything else, or begin here and work backwards. No clock, no agenda. There's no rush here and there never will be.
